People // Indaba Music // New @ Indaba Music

Back in July, a portion of Indaba users had their Basic accounts upgraded to Pro or Platinum memberships for a free trial period alongside the release of Indaba’s new console and site features. These upgrades were based upon the high usage by these members and were designed to give you time to adapt to your new, improved Indaba experience. This grace period has come and gone, and these trial memberships have run out. Don’t panic though - during your time as a Pro or Platinum member you were exposed to all the perks Indaba has to offer, and they sure are awesome! So why would you let all the advantages of being a Pro or platinum member just slip through your fingers?
For the price of a cup of coffee (or a beer) you can keep your membership as a Pro user - it's only $5 a month or $50 for the year! Much cheaper then a meal out and way more satisfying, don't you think? So do yourself a favor and upgrade your account today, it will be the best decision you've made all year.
Take a look at what you'll get with a Pro or Platinum membership - it's a no brainer!

Hi, Indaba Music team,
I am happy to be with you and join you. I shall join you soon, may be next week, as Pro for the time being, on monthly basis $5, for I am right now in constraint.
I am very interested and excited about the online music software you offer. I want to do some music with it.
I am looking forward to next week
Thanks
Nisha

Srsly guyz...
You still have a lot of work to do... Until Indaba works better on Linux. No go for me. And your software needs some major improvements. I had better software when I was using Windows 98... I do not use your software at all...
I can upload 500mb files to megaupload.com & send them back & forth by sending my collaborators links...
You guys really need to rethink your business model. Most of the people I talk to on here don't even know how to use the site. Trying to get a collaborator that understands everything is a nightmare. Proposing terms & other inner workings of the process are very cumbersome here.
All the site is currently good for is meeting people who are interested in doing music with you -- That's all Indaba is good for currently... You are just a tad more advanced than Soundclick.
You need to work on the Website first & foremost. It needs a complete overhaul because what you have is not doing it for me.
Next, your software, while very nice for being Java (I commend you for using cross platform programming) is NOT sufficient. Sony SoundForge, Adobe Audition, & Audacity are far superior to what you offer.
The default overview of Sessions is crap. It needs way better organization. The default should be the files. Focus on the files more. That is what people need when making music digitally. Not seeing every comment & action taken in the session...
The only reason why you guys are so big & stay on top is because there is no other alternative to what you offer... But If some serious improvements are not made, I see you guys getting blown out of the water very soon...
