Monadnock Music Festival Solo Improv Concert
- Description:
I can do whatever I want . . . possibilities include:
1. SCENES FROM CHILDHOOD - I play Schumann's Scenes, and then improvise a new suite based on audience titles drawn from a hat
2. WHATSA SONATA - Most people who go to classical music concerts are hearing sonatas all the time (symphonies, concerti) but don't really know the form. It's like going to a baseball game and not knowing the rules. I play a sonata based on familiar melodies (Old MacDonald Sonata, or, Mary's Little Lamb Meets the Three Blind Mice) to help you find your way.
3. FREE IMPROV
