Meanwhile, unwilling to switch mobile carriers to get an iPhone, the other half of the Indaba Music team has waited... and waited... and waited, ever so patiently for a comparable phone to be available through their service. A phone to match the iPhone's grace. Its speed. Its being.

November 6th, AKA Droid Day. The Motorola Droid, heralded by the press as the first true challenger to the iPhone, arrives in stores and is immediately procured by Matt and Nate from the Indaba Music team. Arriving at the office touting their new phones, the Indaba team gathered, comparing and contrasting it to the iPhone. Sides were taken. The Phone Wars were under way.

In lieu of a light saber battle to the death, we present… a battle of the ringtones. To participate, choose your weapon - either the iPhone audio OR the Droid audio. If you don't have either phone, choose the one whose audio samples you prefer. Create an original ringtone using (or covering) at least one audio sample from your chosen phone’s audio files. Make sure to put the name of the phone in the title of your submission. The winning phone will be the phone whose ringtones get the most votes!
