Painful Serpent Productions stands for REAL hip-hop, we do it for the love of music, not for the money...of course its great to get a financial reward for the work we've done. Anyways, the love for hiphop goes first.Our opinion is that like 95% of the mainstream artists that start getting alot of money turn commercial, and try to seek for more sources of income, even if their music becomes fake and commercial...we think it's a damn shame that ALOT of artists who used to be great, fell off, just to name a few: 50 Cent, Eminem, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Fat Joe and the list goes on. It's just our opinion, that all these artists used to be great, but fell off soon as they started to become rich. We also think that alot of dirty south 'rappers' fuck up hip-hop, if you can even call it hiphop, of course not everyone from the dirty south is wack, like Ludacris, Young Buck & TI and some more. The big labels should stop brainwashing people, nowadays alot of people think Lil Wayne and Soulja Boi are real hip-hop, simply because they dont know no better. If you love real hiphop, and you only want to listen to the real MC's? like Big L (rip), the oldschool Cam'ron & Ma$e, Big Pun (rip), 2pac (rip, Biggie (rip) Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Nas, Kool G Rap, Rakim and alot of underground artists...you should definitely check out our Indaba channel, because we make HIPHOP, and not POP music...
