Complete Metal Song Needing Only Vocals // Session
Hi, I uploaded my first vocal recording ever!!! It is a metal tune...a stretch for me. It is rough and still needs a lot of work, but I am not sure what to do to improve the sound quality. I have cheap mic and equipment, but there must be things that can be done to tweak the vocals. Any feedback?
I had trouble just with setting the volume as there seem to be at least a half dozen places to tweak the volume? Do I lower the volume on the cheap USB mic, laptop controls and increase it in the Mixcraft software track?
I have some ideas to add some synth to the drum intro or dead spots too. Or is synth not really part of a metal sound these days?
