Sorry about the utter lack of logging on lately. My last few months have been consumed with studying and practicing for the AP Calc test and making up failed classes so that I may graduate. With this in mind my band and I have also finished recording two songs which has been not only the source of several mental breakdowns, but also the source of some pretty kick ass music!!! Anyway I intend to be back on consistently 15 days from now (which is when I take the AP calc test, wish me luck). Here is our url for our music. I suggest listening to the song Inflight Soliloquy first because it's a better intro track to the other tune. Keep in mind that this is a demo.

My favorite DT fan comment is, "They are so amazing, but I hated their last few releases." If you don't like a band then stop listening to them, and spare the fans that still like their stuff your whining. That's what normal people do. When Yes went all crappy people stopped listening. When Rush went through their 'keyboard' phase people stopped listening. When Porcupine Tree came out with their new album people stopped listening. When Niel Morse left Spock's Beard people stopped listening. But there were people who genuinely enjoyed their music through these times. Please spare people who like the music the annoyance of you complaining about everything. When a band records you get what you get. Those are the facts of life. It would be different if it was just one album, but if the last three albums were crappy to you, then you should probably stop listening.

Turns out that Chris Squire just underwent knee surgery as of the 15th, and as of the 19th the rest of the In The Present tour (the band Yes) will be canceled. I wish Chris a speedy recovery seeing as he is one of the innovators of the modern role and sound of the bass. Hopefully Chris, Alan, and Steve will be back on the road again soon. I posted a picture of Chris in honor of his awesomeness. Usually he's playing his Rick, but the plethora of Ampeg cabinets was too much for me not to post this photo!

Today's picture is an honor to Bill Bruford who has officially retired from public performances. He is best known for his work in the legendary British progressive rock group Yes. He is one of my favorite drummers of all time, and its sad for him not to be playing for the public anymore. Visit the link http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RyQxu7vqWqs for a vintage drum solo while he was working with Yes.

Today's picture is a bass player called Markus Grützner from 7 for 4. A progressive metal band from europe.
