I live in Seattle but the good music here kind of went downhill. I am hoping it landed in Portland; the people I hung out with and met when I was there were really looking out for each other. I would love to move there very soon!

The layout of these groups/discussions is kind of hard to wrap my head around... there should be multiple threads =P
Anyway, yeah, I have all kinds of recordings I'd be happy to upload. I just joined up, but will be putting field recordings and musical stuff up soonish.

No, just fooling around. I'm a string/piano player in Portland! Jesiah, dude. You have some amazing piles of equipment there! (I'm referring to the Babies in your photo.) I'll have to take a panoramic shot of my basement studio, in its full glory. And post it here, on the interweb. Do you have any samples of field recordings/soundscapes? Let's hear em!

Greetings everyone. I don't live in Portland (not even close actually, I'm in NJ), but I'd like to move there sometime soon. It's such a beautiful area out there, plus the progressive mindset...it sounds like my kind of place. So what's the music scene like out there, anyway?
