hey guys. im using le8 on vista ultimate 32-bit. works great. but the mbox 2 mini interface isnt recognised by windows. so i can use it for pro tools, but not for itunes.
any advice?
I upgraded a while ago, no upgrade issues. You may have to upgrade some of your plugs and virtual instruments to the latest updates...if you check Digidesigns web-site, they have a list of what plugins are compatible and which versions. I LOVE PT8.

I got the Pro Tools 8 upgrade a while ago, but I haven't put it on my computer yet for a few reasons, one of which I hope someone can help me on.
Do I have to rebuy all my plug-ins if I go from 7.4 to 8? Will they still work? Thanks.

Hey Daniel. You could buy a simple 1/8" to 1/4" Y cable (Live Wire 3.5M (TRS)-Dual 1/4"" Y Cable = $8.99 at Guitar Center) and run the line out (or headphone out) of you computer directly into your monitors (if you own monitors and they accept a standard 1/4" input).
If you are just trying to get tracks into PT8 or have iTunes play through your mbox mini, you could always run that same Y cable into the the two line inputs on your mbox. Hope that helps.
