Use the search tool on Indaba to find friends and perspective collaborators. Use the simple search at the top right of the People page or use our advanced search by selecting the Browse People button at the top right of the People page.

Use message boards to sound off with other Indaba members about the site. You can ask questions about the site, discuss music and more. Responses to your posts on the message board will be easily accessible at the top of the Message Board page.

Groups are a great way to connect with like-minded musicians on Indaba. You can browse groups by checking out the Recommended Groups on the Groups page and you can Browse groups you may be interested by clicking on the Browse All Groups button at the top right of the groups page. Once you join a group, you will be notified when there is activity within this group, and you can share your thoughts, music, and other media with your group members.

To add someone as your contact at Indaba Music, select the Add To Contacts button on the top right of their profile page. You can choose from 3 levels of contact – Interested in, which means you don’t know this user but you are interested in them and want to be able to easily get back to their profile, Acquaintances and Friends. Acquaintances and Friends need to be confirmed by the person you’re contacting, so a request will be sent to that user.

To view your contacts, click the My Contacts button at the top right of any Indaba page.
