Messaging and Chat
Messaging and real-time chat are the best way to collaborate with your collaborators, friends and fans on Indaba Music.
To view your inbox on Indaba Music, click the Messages link under the Your Inbox header on the dashboard. You can also select the My Messages button at the top right of any Indaba page.
To send a message on Indaba Music, go to another user’s profile page and select the Send a Message button at the top right of their page.
Select the + at the top of the Chat bubble at the bottom right of any Indaba page to see a list of your contacts that are online. Select the contact you’d like to chat with to open a new Chat window. Your chat conversation will appear in this new window.
If you would not like to appear in your friends’ contact lists when you’re online, select Offline in the chat bubble drop down menu. If you’d like to appear in your friends’ contact lists as busy, select Away in the chat bubble drop down menu.
