About Streeter
Streeter

Streeter Seidell is a comedy writer and (mediocre) drummer living in Brooklyn, NY. During the day he edits the front page of CollegeHumor.com but when the sun goes down he takes his place at the helm of the Indablog. He maintains a personal blog at StreeterSeidell.com and wants to make sure you know he once wrote something for the New York Times and that it was, in the words of his mother, "Amazing! You're so talented!"

The Monday Showdown

Monday September 22, 2008 at 09:00 AM

Welcome to another week, Indaba!  It's Monday and that means it's showdown time.  Last week we talked about drummers, this week let's talk about frontmen, shall we?  It's a rare band that has two of them, but one of the most famous bands in the world did.  And, surprisingly, we've never debated their merits on this blog before.  So let's have it out: who was the better Beatle, Lennon or McCartney?  You can base your judgment on whatever you want: songwriting ability, singing voice, showmanship, post-Beatles career, etc.  Let's just have it out once and for all.  Lennon vs. McCartney!  Leave your answer in the comments.

The Beatles are FOUR people and only this four people are the Beatles.Everyone of them 25 % and together 100 %.This is the thing. The right people together in the rifgt time and at the right place. This is the voodoo magic.
Oh and after the Beatles the 25 % where good enough to do many many good music :-)

The genius of one of them comes from the other one. One genius plus another genius, that pushes the other one beyond every limit. Both have 150%, but both together reach 500%.
