We all know there are certain chord progressions that get more use than others. I dare you to find one with more songs applied to it than this one. As best I can tell it's a 1-4-6-5. Am I right? (Compiled by Axis of Awesome)

Nice work Axis. It's actually a 1-5-6-4 progression. You probably just twisted that around to see who was paying attention right? And for some of those songs, it was a 6-4-1-5, which is the same thing starting at a different point. I wonder if you can find any songs that use this progression starting on the 4, so it's 4-1-5-6? Or on the 5, so it's 5-6-4-1?

@John: Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" is 5-6-(3)-4-1.
Reminded me of the Pachelbel rant video.Between the Pachelbel chord changes and 1-5-6-4 in various forms, I guess we've accounted for a good 2/3 of pop music there!
