Colbert Issues New Remix Challenge!

Wednesday January 21, 2009 at 09:59 PM

Those of you who watched The Colbert Report last night caught a little bit of Indaba making its way into pop culture (check out the video below).

The session we created in response to Stephen Colbert's original remix challenge has been a huge success - over fifty versions of the pundit's interview with Larry Lessig on copyright infringement. Colbert (who is anti-remix) had no choice but to acknowledge the overwhelming response. He was so enraged, in fact, that he made a video of Chris Lewis' version and played it on the show!! Good work, Chris!

Colbert ended the show with another challenge, involving a chapter from his audio book, a K-Hole groove, and a rhythmic vocal riff that he went on for a little bit. We've recorded the new audio (even better for remixing) and have it up in the Colbert Session so that you can start Round 2.  Let's show Colbert what he's gotten himself into!

GET INVOLVED IN ROUND 2!
