(my sarcasm isnt here to be malicious, but just to make sure yall know whats going on. All in all, I love that Indaba)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
so, uh, whens console 3.0 comin out? or at least 2.1 cause i havent gotten a single song to play yet. AND I havent had a problem before, so I know its not on my end. yall changed a good thing, and im cool with that if you keep it good. It LOOKS COOL, BUT the SONGS DONT PLAY!!!!, and im not interested in using Indaba as a means for production (i saw a few ads before the change to 2.0. I have my own software thank you.) soooooo, yea lemme know when the BUG IS FIX'd, y'hurd me.
Yea as I said, I havent heard one song to play on indaba since the change. on my profile, other profiles, my sessions, other sessions. NOTHING LOADS. i see the waveform, what a tease. at least I can still upload and download on sessions. I just made a new session, and someone finally uploaded something recently. so yea, at least i was able to dwnldit to hear it. but people cant just click and hear, they gotta download it. that is, untill yall fix the bug.
ok, enough rambling on my part, just fix it. I'll probably be off indaba for about a week, i dont even want to be bothered.
One last thing: I'm not afraid of change, but please dont be like facebook and change to a new look every other week. i think yall got it already. ahmmm, had it.
Hey D_Lish,
Thanks for your feedback - are you using Internet Explorer? If so, I'd suggest you download Firefox from www.firefox.com. We plan on getting the site working in every browser, but for whatever reason, we're having trouble with IE6,7 & 8. I believe playing songs won't be a problem if you're using Firefox.
Actually, Matt, playing songs is a problem in Firefox...the only one I've been having, so far, with the new interface. So, the playback issue is somewhat larger than you initially thought.
how do you use it in offline mode? i would suspect there would be benefits to doing so. i upgraded to pro, looking forward to giving indaba a second chance. I think this site is an awesome idea, and once all the kinks are worked out, i will probably be making some money off this site, so my thanks in advance for a great idea.
However, notice i did say SECOND chance, the first experience i had was horrible. bugggggggggggggy.
console 2.0 is still buggy as hell, but i find it less buggy than the first. i don't care so much about FX and all the frills, just something that i can put track together in. nothing fancy. but i'm sure some users are retarded and request such things like auto-tune and all that crap.
i too have my own software, and i have a full post-production studio here in my house, as well as a sub-contracted AAA state of the art studio here in my hometown that ROCKY VI was mixed in.
i just need some reliable tools, and i see that y'all are well on your way to providing that, so i am in gratitude, any way that i can make a buck sitting on my ass in my house playing guitar is greatly appreciated.
thanks. and how to i work in offline mode? and what are the advantages?
