I've heard some pretty awesome submissions for "Army of Love" so far - Keep 'em comin' everyone! I'd be stoked if a few people could check out my version of it as well.
I was recently told that my remix was put together well but lacked that "something" that kept the listeners attention. I take all criticism constructively as, if I am not ready to win a contest, I want to keep getting better till I do. so i welcome all input as to ways to improve my craft. criticism is a double edge sword.........all criticism, is not good criticism, and not necessarily good, nor constructive. The only reason we think a lot of songs, or material is good, is because the artist we listen too have made it to a certain level of success, and Im sure it wasn't because they did it ( their music ) the way someone else suggested they should do it. Im talking about real artist, not dat bubble gum sh_t !
to some, it looks like I might know what Im doin, but the truth is, whether I do, or don't, Ima do it to the death, my way, whatever it is, because Im not fakin sh_t ! We still learnin' on all levels over here........I understand what we are up againts, thats why I beef, cause Im fighting for what I believe we should be, not what others think we should be.............
