If you haven't checked out The Tragicall Hip's new record WORLD CONTAINER, I highly recommend it. Bob Rock produced it. It definitely has a lot of heavy, low end drive. The real thing for me is the lyric content. I personally think Gord Downie is ahead of his time. He just has an unbelievable feel for balancing totally unexpected, left field headiness with grounded, utterly relatable statements. Sick sick sick. See them at Irving Plaza in April and I'll bet you 10 bucks you'll get reaaal into them.
