Have been into music my whole life. Since the age of 4 or 5 I would sing along and dance to MJ records (a familiar story I'm sure). I then got into Terence Trent D'arby and Stevie Wonder thanks to my Dad, and as I have got older, I got into all sorts of genres. My record collection now spans Metal, Rock, Pop, Soul, RnB, Dance and Eighties cheese!
My motto is "A good song, is a good song". Regardless of genre. I never rule anything out before hearing it, and I think that's the best way to be.
I now write for 3 projects. My main project is "Forever Never". A UK 5 piece metal band with massive soulful anthemic choruses, and layered harmonies - doing something a bit out of the norm within the modern metal scene. We have 2 albums released in stores in the UK, and available online worldwide. In this project, I write all the lyrics/vocal melodies, and about 75% of the music side of things.
Aside from this, I have started writing for my own solo project "Renny C.", which is Pop/Soul/RnB. At the moment I have 7 tracks fully produced and recorded by me 100%, but I am looking for collaborating on a few tunes to keep things fresh. So if you think you can come up with something sexy in this vein for a possible future release, get in touch.
Lastly, I do a two man project called "Bilbo Elite. Which is a comical anti-gangster rap group consisting of various outrageous characters, all performed by myself and one other person. The tunes are still very listenable, and very catchy - but lots of tongue in cheekness going on, without being crude for the sake of it.
I can write a good melody, so if you want me to write something for you, get in touch and we'll see what we can do. If you've got any tunes you think could work for my solo project, again get in touch. I have done vocal production on an upcoming release by American Rockers Fozzy (feat Chris Jericho of WWE fame), which comes out in January, and the band were very happy with the additions and alterations I made. - How I Work:
I am quite often on tour with Forever Never, but in between tours I can record easily as I have a home studio.
For vocal production or melody writing, I will judge that on a per case scenario. e.g. artist/band, number of tracks, release plans etc. Which will then depend on royalty based fee/producer points/per track fee. Get in touch and we'll work something out.
If you want to send me ideas for my own use, obviously we can work out an arrangement should the work end up getting a proper release, but it goes without saying if you wrote the music you'll get paid one way or another - that's only fair, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
If you want to collab purely for fun, that's fine - but I will break your balls if I ever hear the "fun" on someone elses album! ;)

Singing
Singing training at several levels. Most recently HND (distinction) at Brighton Institute of Modern Music for Vocals in 2005.
Session work for several companies. Have recorded vocals anonymously on in excess of 20+ albums. (And no, I can't tell you what ones!). Nothing major label though, but I did pick up 5 of 6 of these albums in Virgin Megastore in Orlando!
Vocal production on 5 tracks for the upcoming Fozzy album "Chasing the Grail". Released in January 2010. Also performed some additional vocals on these tracks.
Performed vocals on 2 of USA rap metal pioneers Stuck Mojo's albums: "Southern Born Killers" & "The Great Revival". "That's When I Burn" and "Friends" respectively.

Wrote and performed Keys and String arrangements on "Forever Never" (2009).
Tracked all guitars, bass and vocals for "Forever Never".Bass and Guitar - 10 years experience, but only of a very certain standard. E.g. what you hear on the FN albums barring the solos. Can't widdle!
Piano - learnt from the age of 5-11, had a very long break, and started played again a few years ago. Picking it up slowly, but again, look at the standard of piano on my "Renny C." material for a reference point.
Production/Composing - fairly competent user of Pro Tools 8 and Reason 4. Always learning more, but am able to fully produce the Renny C stuff, and in the case of FN can fully demo whole tracks using DKFH Superior for the drums.
