About Me

Skill Level:
Amateur
Craft:
singer, lyricist
Instruments:
voice
Genres:
folk, jazz, indie rock, new age

We're SISTERS who love to sing - we call our genre Harmony of the Heart.

We are technical bimboes with a lot of will power.

A friend gave me a good pair of sony headphones and a good sony mic for my 30th birthday, and loaned me a Tascam analog 4 track. I've never focused on anything in my life the way i have with music. To be able to create something from nothing, and have it later - that, to me, is magic. I began using Protools in 1998, use Logic Express since nov 05 on a Mac G4, Presonus Firebox, and a Cad Trion 6000 multi-pattern condensor microphone.

and tho he may not be the man
some folks think of as handsome
to my heart he carries the key
won't you tell him please
to put on some speed
follow my lead
oh how i need
someone to watch over me
someone to watch over me

(favorite lyric at this moment in time)

Hello Anne! Thanks for the cool comments! I like your sounds as well. Maybe we will work on something together sometime ...

Fred Jam wrote on June 7, 2008:

Ok well I do not think that is the case since she pretty much went with me on decisions made for productions. I believe she would have gone with you just on my advice. I have had instances where you did not respond to me. I thought it was just one of those non reply things...

Fred Jam wrote on June 7, 2008:

Well I have done much work with Dirge, and it is in the jukebox here. I knew she had problems but not the depth of them until Jill contacted me, about Nic's suicide. That is how I met Jill. She is now a good friend. I helped her finish producing a CD of Dirge K songs, and she has it on the market. I could have sworn she said she tried contacting you. Jill that is. We do have more of her tunes in the archives that I am going to produce when time permits. There are some she wants to produce with another singer because we have only mixes. That is why I recommended you. I even gave her you e-mail address. You sure you never heard from her?

Fred Jam wrote on June 7, 2008:

That is Dirge K. It is one of the songs I produced for her mother after her death. She is looking for a singer to redo some of Dirge's songs where we have no vocal separate. I recommended you months ago, and then never heard anything else about it. Did she contact you?

Hans Anderson wrote on March 29, 2008:

Ah well, what a nice thought! And good luck. You're going to need it. :-)

Hans Anderson wrote on March 29, 2008:

I really like your voices - or voice, it's almost a single one - your vibe. and your songs. I would love to invite you, but since I write lyrics in my own language I guess it would be pretty difficult working together. :-) all the best from Sweden, /Hans
