Thanks, please vote if you liked it. I was trying to make it sound like the old 78rpm records. They had bad sound in the 1930's.

greetings

Thanks for checking it out. You didn't mind the poor recording quality? It was done on purpose, but not sure everybody gets it.

Oliver Leonard wrote on March 7, 2010:

Supp. It's real nice :) Just, as most people said on it, it's the vocals that needs a bit of sorting out. You might need a better mic, it doesn't sound right. Also, rap at a lower pitch, and it'll be mint :D

That's just my opinion, but it's still great :) Good work (Y) If you need beats, just give me a shout.

Thanks, just need to respect others and help them once in a while, too

It would be better if you stop spamming people and take interest in other people's work. I have entered the Weezer contest recently, too. but did you notice? You are all about "check out my stuff or suck my" .... very rude, especially after how much time I spent listening to your tunes and giving feedback. I am sure I am not the only person with this thought.

Christian Beck wrote on March 5, 2010:

Going whoa is fun! havn´t heard much here yet that made me go whoa-mode. but i´ll probably find some as time goes by. Im still new on indaba.

Fredrik Carlsson wrote on March 3, 2010:

Haha glad you like it. But i actually did use some fl stuff here. all synths are made with FL´s basic 3xosc synth. and FL keys for piano. i got some badass pianoplugins but this fit this track better. when you mix it right you can make shit sound good :D

Fredrik Carlsson wrote on March 3, 2010:

Yo! Now i made a track for you to give some feedback on. :D

Hi, DND:

I left a few comments at your page. Overall, nice work. I did agree the vocals are a little muddy -- buried in the mix. I would try bringing them up and perhaps popping them a little with some EQ.

Peace,
Greg

So u from Jo'burg ay, I'm a Durbs oakie myself ........ small world. I'd love to give u some feed back on the day and night track but I gotta be honest witchu man ...... I can't make out what ur saying. turn ur vocals up, lessen the reverb, tighten up the compression or get a real good pop filter. I would love to hear what u got to say about home.

DND AKA Jew Hefner wrote on February 27, 2010:

Whats hapnin bro. Just made a new track in need of some feedback hope u can provide,

The track is called "This Is South Africa (Day & Night)"
This is a track that I was just itching to do, it's about my homeland South Africa and the problems with the country. By most people it'll certainly be considered racist unless you listen to what I say carefully, what I'm saying is when White people were in power it may have been a racist regime, but at least everyone had food, education, clean water... I am not attacking Black people in South Africa as a whole but am attacking the Black government. If you listen to what I say carefully I stand up for the Black people screwed over by this corrupt, incompetent government. I talk about how Black people who put the government in power were screwed over because of how much worse it is seventeen years down the line. I attack a government in the same way 50 Cent attacks "Crackers", in the same way NWA does, in the same way Public Enemy does...The irony of this track is though that under the apartheid system rap was banned because it was considered a "Bantu threat to the government", something to ponder on I guess. But remember listen properly! And if you still want to listen to the track I'd love some feedback. Thanks to my man Nascent for production and my boy AM for mixing and mastering.

Thanks,
Peace
