Hello there and thanks for checking me out. My whole deal is I like to work with numerous artistic media, including web design, photography, video, CGI, illustration, and, of course, music. I enjoy or have at least some measure of appreciation for almost all styles of music, from classical to alt rock. I use keyboard/synthesizer to make MIDI tracks, which I augment with vocals. I've never thought of myself as a great singer, but I'm certainly capable of belting out a decent vocal recording or two. I've been composing music and writing songs since childhood, and have accumulated innumerable songs and working ideas which I'd like to transform into quality recordings someday. Although I don't have a lot a time (or patience) for continuously making tweaks and edits to tracks, I work hard to put out decent sounding mixes without spending too much time or taking myself too seriously. I'm just looking to hear and share some music, meet some new people, and, hopefully, find some inspiration.

Studio Projects B1 (mic)

Miles Thorn, I just listened to your remix of Rivers Cuomo's "Brain is working overtime"... Awesome work, man. I like the touches of blues and your hard hitting rifts. The feel sounds fun and your ideas are your own but respect the vision of the originator...Nice :) Miles Thorn, you have my vote and good luck to you

Peace and Rock On,

Allan Blanks

Miles Thorn, excellent composition man. "Question" is very moving to me. You do a great job of capturing the rush, intensity, and uncertainty we sometimes experience when we look within ourselves. Cooool, I like that approach. Miles Thorn, aside from the psychology the music is awesome as well. The lyrics, your voice, and instrumentation totally come together. Nice art, man. Miles, thank you for visiting and adding me. I look forward to listening to more of your craft and your voice is a great weapon that compliments your songwriting. Keep it up. Peace and rock on, Allan Blanks.
