You got it, brother: Jaco was a one of a kind. I just found his kids [who are now grown and into music] on MySpace and you've just rminded me that I need to say hello. I remember at his wake [I forget what club it was], after they played Jaco's last recording, this soft, slow, melancholy lone bass playing...it was Jeff Berlin playing solo, live.
