Muscle Hawk is the dirty, funky, electro-thrash pet project of Salt Lake producer/musicians Greg Bower and Josh Holyoak. They've been playing their live electro set around town in some of the hottest dance spots for the past 10 months receiving a lot of attention from local media (SLUG, City Weekly, KUTV2, X96, KRCL 90.9FM, utahfm.org) as well as garnering attention outside the state, including being named The Boston Phoenix 2009 best new artist in Utah.
They smash up the dance floor with their blend of distorted synths, 80s funk, nu wave and electro thrash beats and have played at large events such as the Sundance Fashion Show and X96 Big Ass Show.
You can find, listen and contact Muscle Hawk via myspace at myspace.com/musclehawk as well as on a multitude of other sites (here on Indaba Music, Facebook, Reverb Nation, Last FM).
Their highly praised first EP "The Speed of Dark" is available on iTunes, and a follow up EP is on the way. The as of yet unnamed EP is scheduled for release in early January.

So i was listening to your comeback clean remix (which is friking awsome and i have voted for) and you used this effect on your synth wich sounded like a dj stopping a vinyl. iv been trying to figure out how you do it for ages so i was hoping you could let me in on the secret.
hope you have time to reply

oh ha, you're a band. I'd be mighty impressed if it was just one person. I could use someone else to work with to make my stuff.
