RONNIE CAYWOOD has been singing since his early teens. For several years Ronnie gave up his music to pursue another career, but music was always tugging at his heart strings. His love of music, along with his talent & fantastic & powerful voice, led Ronnie back into music where he has developed his own unique country style.

Ronnie's original tunes come straight from the heart & thru the lessons that the ups and downs of love & life have taught him. Ronnie unjustly remains one of Country Music's secret finds.

Although Ronnie remains modest about his music, you can find him performing with other great musicians or doing solo gigs just about anywhere around Central Texas & the Hill Country, including The Milam County Cowboy Church in Rockdale along with Glenn Schneider on Bass, who also has a great voice. You'all come out and join us some Sunday. Ronnie also sings at The Oaks in Manor, Hill's Cafe in Austin, The Piano Bar & Steakhouse in Rockdale; Hondo's On Main, Fredericksburg, Hilltop Bar & Grille (also known as Poodies) in Bee Cave, Swiss Alp Dancehall near LaGrange. (You'all come out and join us some Sunday), as well as many private events.

Ronnie hss a great bamd. Daancehall Drifters. All the musicians who play have diverse and successful backgrounds and their musical influences are as widespread as the music they play. Ronnie also has had the honor of having some of the Ace In The Hole musicians play some venues with him.

Showcased in various Songwriter Nights in Nashville, he's also sang at the Bluebird Cafe & the famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge.

Ronnie has shared bills with Country Singers & Grand Ole Opry stars Claude Gray, Jody Miller, Miss Norma Jean, Mary Lou Turner, Freddie Hart and Darrell McCall. He has also shared bills with Ronnie Huckaby, Benny McArthur, Dan Dreeben, Tom Batts, Sam Justin Trevino, Phillip Glyn and Noel Haggard, and Bentley, & Dickey Overby.

Ronnie appeared on the Austin, Tx. Fox Channel, filmed a TV Special with Country Singer Claude Gray, and performed in the 2007 Austin SXSW. He also had the opportunity to audition for America's Got Talent in 2008.

Ronnie's talents also include songwriting. His first song, "Id A Played Here For A Dime" has been received quite well. Another tune that's received a lot of attention is "Just An Old Dude", also penned by Ronnie and recorded at Steve Palousek's studio (former steel player for Ray Price). Ronnie recorded "I'm The Man" at Cherry Ridge Studios with Tommy Detamore.

Ronnies strong vocal abilities & engaging stage presence, along with his distinctive performance style, allow him to entertain audiences with original tunes as well as cover tunes from such artists as Roy Orbison, Van Morrison, Ray Price, Wynn Stewart, John Hiatt, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard & Delbert McClinton to Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson & Waylon Jennings., who have all been a tremendous influence in his love of music. His crowd-pleasing tunes range from Country & Alternative Country to a little Rockabilly & Blues. Comfortable in front of all crowds, large or small, in both public & private settings, he consistently offers excellent entertainment while still remaining true to his Texas Music.

A member of the Austin Songwriters Group, Austin Federation of Musicians (AFM Local 433), & BMI. Listed in the Texas Music Directory, Ronnie is also an Associate Member of the Academy of Country Music. Ronnie has won Honorable Mention in two National Songwriting Contests.
