Hey "Paul", I'm not a professional by any stretch of the imagination but I thought the layering was well done. You could change up the drums a little more, and stops are nice. (Never underestimate the power of silence). Even a back and forth different drum beat, like say every eight measures switch, can liven up a mix. I like the beats you made, but just not the same one for minutes at a time. Also the lengths of the recordings are very excessive. I would bring them down to 6 minutes max. All in all the sound is good and mixed well, but you have to watch the bass volume, bass tones are very intrusive and will drown out the rest of your mix quite easily so be careful. I hope this helps. -peace-

Fat music man ! Especially the first tune.

Maybe its even cooler if u make every part of your track at the same loudness level (use automation to make the quiet parts louder or the loud parts quieter) and then put a compressor at a moderate level and a limiter afterwards on the master bus)
