Hello, my name is 12 Sandwiches,
I am a Melbourne Based singer/songwriter, Graphic Artist. The frontman from a now, De-funked, Funk Band, called Hyphen. I choose to take on projects that let me incorporate my abilities, otherwise I would clearly fail, But my box of skills contain Music, Visual Art and Creative Writing. I babble eccentrically, doodle immensely. So I don't loose ideas, I always carry a notebook, or two, for jotting down every thought I can write down, draw etch, scribble or somehow record.
I hoard all things visually stimulating, and have a hard time parting with any of the collected unusual vintage noise devices. And yes, I did once keep an elderly man as a pet. He could yodel quite well, but after a week of living in the cupboard, my wife didn’t like his smell.
My craft is mixing laughter, fun, into surreal entrainment and then, transplanting that idea from my mind successfully into a user friendly format, then making it catchy enough, to get it stuck into your head for which you have unknowingly paid me for. The removal fee of catchy is expensive.
I enjoy the art of turning an odd sample, into feel good tune. I can make a cat dance to the sound of my Atari 2600 and the nuclear buzz of my Microwave.
I love to play live, and did for many years, but after you realise the only one earning any money at a gig, is the sound mixer and the bar owner. So I found alternatives, like THE INTERNET.
My favourite instrument to play, is still the audience.
I like to fool others into believing I'm a superhero of mixing sound and pictures, and my imagination is my own self propelled projectile Kryptonite enemy, but with the reverse energy draining powers of the usual kind, mine builds up more energy, but involves less sleep.

My hours are very flexible, time is not relevant, i don't believe in it,
But I do acknowledge its existence when others are dependant on it, and need their job done well and professionally.
I like the money thing, and do enjoy the comfort of food. Payment is awesome, I am a fan of the use of Paypal as a means of electronically greasing the walls of my otherwise dry corporate money safe, just not a fan of the way it works.
