About Me

Skill Level:
Amateur
Genres:
techno, tech house, house, chill-out, electronica, progressive house
Influences:
Frankie Knuckles, marshall Jefferson, Bellville Three, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Adonis, Mr Lee, Phuture, Ron Hardy

IN]Head-Kay grew up in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli, to a family who appreciated and nurtred music. At a very early age, [IN]Head-Kay got exposed to various styles of music, ranging from classical symphonies to deep oriental sounds.

For a while, [IN]Head-Kay shifted through genres, with a focus on Urban sounds, which was accompanied by his passion for playing various musical instruments.
It was through this exposure to various Urban styles that he got interested in mixing and producing. Soon he found himself connecting a pitch controller to his bedroom stereo and attempting to beat match similar tracks. In 2006, [IN]Head-Kay started experimenting with various softwares, and he eventually moved digital in the years 2007/08.

[IN]Head's musical influences have been many, but he always has a special place in his heart for such legends as Kevin Saunderson, Marshall Jeferson, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Sven Vath and Carl Craig, to name but a few. His style can be best described as experimental, spanning a wide spectrum of the EDM array in his sets. However, he always stresses that his music is about the soul and the feelings.

He is quoted saying : "Some of the producers I have grown to admire are : Kevin Saunderson, Frankie Knuckles, Satoshie Tommie, Sven Vath, Marc Houle"

His friendship with big names in the business helped him take his skills to the next level, and with several of his tracks in negotiations with various big labels, the sky is the limit!
