Gottsouls life as a musician began in 1989. Back then he bought the cheapest equipment possible and a few months later he already produced Hip Hop-Beats for various acts.

1993 he joined a turkish Rap-Band called Karakan, which became very popular in the local hip hop-underground. They did a lot of gigs throughout the country and even appeared live in the Hip-Hop TV-Show "Freestyle". At that time Gottsoul also produced some beats for the King Size Terror-LP "Ultimatum" under his pseudonym "Big Porno Ahmet".

In 1995 Karakan joined forces with two other Crews (Cinai Sebeke and Erci E). The project "CARTEL" was born. Their album sold more than half a million copies in turkey alone. Gottsoul produced six tracks for that album - including the multiplatinum titlesong.

After the success of the first Cartel-Album, Gottsoul took a break. He wanted to do something new and more challenging. He opened a bar with his brother and against all odds the place quickly became an underground phenomena and one of Nurembergs hottest spots.

Gottsouls career as a DJ took off as well. His unique mixture of different styles attracted a large audience. Gottsoul rocked big events like Air & Style, Southside-Festival and Rock im Park on a regular basis.

In 2001 Gottsoul became a journalist. His articles about movies, music, games and technical gadgets appear in numerous print- and internet-magazines to this day. Sadly, this time-consuming profession brought his musical carreer to a total stop.

It took him a couple of years to realise, that he just couldn't live without music. So he updated his studio in 2008 and in January 2009 he even quit his day-job to spend more time in the studio.

So, watch out for his upcoming release "CHUNK LE FUNK" which should be out in summer 2009!

what's up, glad you liked. Haven't heard much comment, thanks. I loaded his vocals into Rane Serato and cut them up live. Serato is a DJ tool that lets you manipulate Digital files through tunrtables using timecode records.
