started classical violin at 3 yrs old, played till it wasn't cool enough for jr high
played trombone in stage band ( big band, progressive contemporary )
started my first original metal project at 17, booked rock bars around alberta, played lots of indie hall shows, threw a lot of practice sessions that ended up with a couple hundred of our buddies dropping in to visit
moved to my next project... got to learn their whole songlist over a 2 week period before being expected to put down my tracks in the studio.
band roster changed, took on more of the songwriting responsibilities...
spent 7 or 8 years playing shows, local radio airplay ( university and public stations), throwing our own gigs and helping bring more new bands into the live scene
-went into the studio to record new material, changed band line-up throughout the recording process (pain in the ass
took a few years off to focus on my art career, now slowly building up the callouses and getting my chops back
whew!! that's a lot of crap to type..
