About Me

Instruments:
drums
Genres:
blues, jazz, rock, funk (all), jam band, big band
Influences:
Steve Jordan, Stanton Moore

I've been playing for a little under two years and unfortunately when I moved into an apartment in Atlanta I had to leave my set in St. Louis...needless to say I'm in the market for an electric kit. Until then, I'm working on learning Garage Band.

I'm currently working on a paper about Indaba for my course focusing on online communities at Georgia Tech.

Thanks, justin. Yeah, "Too Old to Rock & Roll" was a fun song to write and record. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

How goes the hunt for your electronic drums?

Hello Justin - Thanx for your kind words. That song that I titled Me and Joey D is actually a portion of a Stevie Ray Vaughn tune called Lenny. I played Lenny w/ SRV years ago and later played this live version with Joey D. It was a really great experience for me. That was the only time I played with Joey although I have worked several live gigs with him playing including a Pat Martino trio record that I worked through Blue Note Records. I am looking forward to hearing what you do. I will check back a little later to hear your music. Thanx again for the positive note and I hope you have fun Indaba-ing!
