Eric Grossman

I've been playing bass for more than 25 years. I wouldn't rather do anything else. In the beginning, I was lucky enough to study with legendary players, Stanley Clarke and Bunny Brunel. These great musicians gave me invaluable insight, and knowledge, that i don't think I could have gotten otherwise.

After playing in original bands in and around the Los Angeles area, I joined Alt Rock band, K's Choice, in 1997. I've been recording and touring full-time since then. I've been blessed with the ability to make my living this way.

I'm the long time bass player for international singer/songwriter Sarah Bettens. I've been blessed enough to gig and sit in with such artists as, the Indigo Girls, Danny LeMelle, Jason Falkner, Debra Cox, John Popper, Anouk, and back all-star jams featuring Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, the Dixie Chicks, the Indigo Girls, and Natalie Merchant.

In St. Louis, I play with Javier Mendoza, Leslie Sanazaro, Auset Music Project, Caleb Travers and Big City Lights, Kevin Bilchick and a growing list of talented artists.

I believe in being a songwriter's bass player. It’s all about realizing the composer’s vision, and bringing it to fruition. That’s my job, and that’s what I do.

My playing has been heard on Party of Five (Fox), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Fox), The Crow (Crescent ent. series pilot), Zus En Zo (Oscar nominated film by Paula Van der Oest), The Bold and the Beautiful (CBS), In Plain Sight (USA), The "L" Word (Showtime), and a national Pepsi radio spot, just to name a few.
