When I was 6 years old, my aunt came to visit and brought her little keyboard with her. After listening to one of Pachelbel's pieces, I began tapping out Canon in D. After I got lessons, my teacher discovered that I had what she called 'perfect pitch.' I find it very easy to listen to something and play it back.
I continued with classical music for several years, but when I joined a rock n' roll band in the 8th grade, I developed a taste for contemporary syle and rock n' roll music, ecspecially classic rock.
My freshman year of high school is just coming to a close, and I'm looking forward to getting a lot accomplished this summer, and the following school year.

I've played classical piano for 9 years, and have been playing contemporary piano/keyboard for 2 years. I have been playing in a rock n' roll band for the past 2 years as well. I've also been picking up guitar for the past few months.
