About Me

Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
Craft:
music student, sound technician
Instruments:
Guitar (All), 12 string guitar
Genres:
rock, blues, progressive rock, metal, instrumental rock
Influences:
Joe Satriani, Tool, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, A Perfect Circle, Orange Goblin, Type O Negative, Testament, Megadeth, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment, Rage Against The Machine, Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Guns N Roses, Pantera, Nine Inch Nails

I'm a music tech student at Keele university in the UK. I've been playing guitar for about 7 years now and thoroughly enjoy pretty much everything to do with the instrument. I love tinkering and fiddling with guitars and as such have gained a good knowledge of their inner workings.

Look forward to jamming with you soon

Working With Others

How I Work:

Mainly interested in meeting new people and trying new things musically. Happy to help out where and if i can :)

Experience:

I've been writing music for quite a while now, and have played in a band for a couple of years (that's over now with going to uni). Some of my older stuff is on the website, but haven't added anything for quite a while.

Certainly interesting in collaberating with anybody who wants a bit of guitar thrown in here and there :D

Equipment:

Guitars:
Ibanez RG1570, Ibanez RGT42dx, Worn out Ibanez RG370, Fender Floyd Rose Fat Strat, CSL Les Paul copy, Crafter TC035 electro-acoustic, Fender 12 string, Fender 60's Reissue Strat, BC Rich Platinum Warlock, Jackson fixed bridge JS series dinky, crappy marshall rocket thing with a fair few upgrades now (first guitar)

Amps:
Marshall AVT150x, Carlsboro 2x10 150w combo (has no model no on it). Little marshall MG practice amp and one of those tiny battery powered marshall stack lookalikes!

F/X:
Korg Toneworks AX1500G, Cry Baby, electro harmonix linear power booster, Marshall ED-1 Compressor, Zoom G2.1u (switch doesn't work so is essentially used as a drum machine)

Recording Stuff
Use a creative soundcard as a recording interface, usually get the output directly from my marshall. Use Cubase 4 Essential and Adobe Audition 3 for most of the recording/processing.
