About Me

Skill Level:
Professional
Craft:
mixing engineer, arranger, record label project manager, composer, musician, singer
Instruments:
nylon guitar (classical), percussion, acoustic guitar, keyboard, oud, voice (lead)
Genres:
acoustic rock, world, light rock, rai, latin, ethnic
Influences:
Sting, Youssou N'Dour, Loreena McKennitt, Omar Faruk Tekbilek

I'm an Egyptian Composer/Arranger/Sound Engineer, Although I've been graduated from School of Business, but I spent around 13 years working and participating with Music Projects here in the Middle east, in other words; I've learned how to be a musician through the tough traditional way; direct learning from talented Egyptian Musicians; Ex. (Fathy Salamah, Nabil AlBaquli, Alexandrian Musicians, etc)
Of course this is beside my self-studying efforts through Music Industry-related Books & eBooks.
I've released my First Album "Dream" in 2008 Nov. I was the Singer and I've composed/Arranged most of tracks (I've added some samples in my profile)
I think I need to add the genre "Arabisk" or "Middle Eastern" or something to indabamusic categories.

I'll be glad to collaborate with other musicians around the world, and hope you like this too!

How are you my friend? I was listening to Yarab again. Every time I sign on to indabamusic before Signing off, I have to listen to Yarab.
I was wondering? Is it real string section or sample? If it is real String Section how many players and if you have these musicians at your service?
Looking forward to hear from you.
Tohid
