I'm very impressed with your "wake up" remix. I'd love to hear some of your stuff. I'm a singer as well and I'm trying my hand at writing lyrics in collaboration with others. Blessings.

It's become such a gimmick that it's becoming annoying to listen to in my opinion. I understand its more practical purpose of lining up vocal comps in ProTools, but it's the "Cher" setting that's driving me crazy.
Trust me, at 38 years of age I've lived through plenty of things that started off as interesting and quickly become heard in every record that came out (the Yamaha DX7 bass and electronic piano patches for example), and that's what Auto Tune is becoming to me. You know it's become common place when Time Magazine does a whole article on it.
