Hi everybody. My name is Ed, and I'm from Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada), home of such artists as Sarah Mclachlan, State of Shock, Matthew Good, Bif Naked, and Michael Buble. I've been playing music since I was 10 years old, and I haven't given up on it since the moment I started hitting my first note.

I've been classically trained in piano, successfully completing the Grade 10 level in the Royal Conservatory of Music. I've also learn to play by ear since high school (and it's currently my main thing to do more than reading music). My inspirations on the piano include Burton Cummings (The Guess Who), John Tesh, Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Elton John.

Between my mid to late teens, I've learned to pick up guitar, drums, and bass after being inspired by various musical friends I've met in the past.

My vocal influences come from the late Kurt Cobain from Nirvana, (the late) Layne Staley and (active member) Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Shaun Morgan from Seether, and Aaron Lewis from Staind. For a long while now, I've been told by various people that I have such a unique voice when I sing, and it's all thanks to those artists for their awesome, inspiring performances.

I currently play in a local rock band called Cry of Silence doing vocals and guitar. Please check out our MySpace to hear our music: http://www.myspace.com/cryofsilence

haha, he played for the Colorado Avalanche for 20 years and won us a couple championships and announced his retirement from hockey yesterday. Sorry, that was just random :).
Keep it up tho!

Very nice Shine 4U version, man. I felt the need to leave you a comment; that was great!

By the way, just a random question; are you a Joe Sakic fan? (hahaha, pride of Burnaby, BC and my hometown Denver, Colorado :D).
