Thanks for the idea of a small one channel pre-amp to jump my signal before my sound card. I've got my eye on a Behringer MIC200 tube pre-amp and an adapter cable to pass the mono signal to the left and right channels at the input of my sound card. I think that will make a considerable difference in the fidelity of my bass line recordings, make it easier to practice, create, and record parts since the volume level will be much louder and in both channels. And it's not very expensive either. Then at some point down the road I can look into getting a real high fidelity audio recording sound card.

I find it amazing how collaborating with musicians here at this web site has jump started me into playing music again. You've been a real pleasure to work with on Rain Trance. I hope we can work together again at some point.
