Hello all. just registered today and still touring this site. I'll introduce myself to you guys : My name is JP aka STICKZ, I play drums, perc, do drum-perc programming, also complete rythm arrangements on tracks. I am also part of the official dml support team ( see message board, news and reviews ) I have played many styles thru the years and my influences are hard to summarize but to name a few : Steely Dan, Toto, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Incognito, Thievery Corp, Dzihan and Kamien, Stereo Mc's, Santana, Ketama, Mana, Michel Camilo, D. Valentin, Rippingtons, Ritenour, Gilberto Gil, Djavan, and many more : basically all that grooves, has percussions and great drums. Some demos are on my DMN artist's page & www.stickz.eu. Presently working demos with different artists, ranging from prog rock to techno, indie, latin … Anyhow, If UR interested in getting a track done to hear how it may sound, give me a buzz.
