Wassup brother? Thanks for the comments! I got that concept from the 2nd verse when he said,' " No more broken promises,no more call to war" '...the drum core of course represents the fighting that's going on around us. That's also why I cut and pasted the phrase at the beginning and end of the song.The strings are Vienna Symphonic Library...if you're not hip, go to www.vsl.co.at and listen to the demo zone.my stuff is whack compared to that!! haha!
