HEYYYY COME CHECK OUT THIS REMIX!! http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/2758 GOOD JOB MAN KEEP ON WORKING AND MAKIN THOSE GOOD HITS YOU GOT GOIN ON!! PLEASE VOTE IF YOU LIKE MY REMIX. IT WOULD MEAN ALOT. YOUR BEAT IS TIGHT. I LIKE HOW YOU USED YOUR SYNTH IN THE FIRST PART OF THE SONG THEN YOUR START CHANGING MELODIES! SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL!! GREAT JOB!
I was telling someone else about one of the best examples of taking a really slow song and turning it into a monster club hit at a much faster tempo--but yet the vocal still sounded equal-distant. Check out the Thunderpuss remix of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right, But it's Okay." over at iTunes (mix 1). The original is at 64 bpm, and the remix is at 130 bpm. They didn't time-stretch the vocals. According to an interview, they spent two weeks separating all the vocals apart and then putting them back together. I could've done the same thing in Logic, but with ten vocal tracks and only five-days to work on the remix (my friend found about the contest late in the game), that wasn't happening. Check back today if you get a chance, I'm going to try to put up some of my own material.
http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/2405 Hi Lee, this is the direct link to my submission! Thank you so much for your support!! If this doesn't work for some reason I'm on the first page of votes or by entry date I submitted August 27th. Take care!
:)
Yeah, great remix, good luck! But if you have a minute, please listen and vote for my remix and support good quality music! http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/2596 Thx in advance, Damian Z.
I think the song is mixed very well (I love the thumping kick drum) and is Dj-friendly, but be careful to not sound exactly another artist. If I didn't know any better, I would've thought that Andre Tannebegger (ATB) mixed it himself. In particular this sounds a lot like "Long Away Home," from "Addicted to Music." I also figured out what was driving me crazy about the multiple mixes like yours that stretched her vocals out to match the tempo. It no longer sounds like Mariah since her natural vibrato is also being stretched out. I still gave you a vote though.
by the way @ milan, this sounds exactly like impetto :) i dig it! great style!
hey lee, thanks for your comment. do you mind if i also post my IBIZA MIX here? :)
http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/2817 greetings from frankfurt
Hey! Thanks for your kind comment! You have really nice mix, sounds like an Inpetto music! :) Best wishes
Nice solid dance mix! warm synth chords, gives the track a solid body. building the tension.. vocals are a bit too stretched, but a powerful mix though. Keep up the good work! Check my HammaHouse Remixxx here: http://www.indabamusic.com/submissions/show/2831 Vote for it if U like it. All the best, Wilf
Thanks 4 your comments! I've listened to yours, and it's really great too! It remembers me to Inpetto Remixes that I like a lot :)
Yeah, kinda chilly electro ionfluenced rmx. Sounds very good for my opinion. I wish you much luck with it! Greetings, Damian Z.
Wherry nice job on getting the tempo of vocals right. The overall feel and composition is top line. I like your work, and hope for some contribution on projects over time.
