Stereo Assassin rose from the ashes of the legendary Long Island Metal/Hardcore/Hip Hop outfit: Soul-Sick. Spearheaded by The Mighty Caputo (ex-singer for soul-sick/ ex-bassist for disciplinary action), stereo assassin is leaving it's mark on the NY music scene with a mix of cut & paste, live guitars, bass & a small arsenal of mechanized equipment. Caputo takes elements of all his Breakbeat/Hip Hop/Electronic influences like: Grandmaster Flash, Prodigy, Freestylers, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, Handsome Boy modeling School, 3rd bass, Chemical Bros, Jungle bros & Coldcut to a more heavy & less expected influence from artists such as: King Crimson, Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit, NIN & Deftones. The result is a mix of music blended to a frenzied perfection that demands your attention.. So wether you like funky breakbeats or heavy grinding breakdowns stereo assassin will satisfy your need for the unexpected.
