Favorite Lyric:

Too many to count, but here's one that's a perennial fave:

My life is just like the weather,
it changes with the hour:
when he's near, I'm fair and warmer;
When he's gone I'm cloudy with showers.
In emotion, like the ocean, it's either sink or swim, when a woman loves a man, like I love him.

Working With Others

How I Work:

When I am teaching voice/ singing, I work out of my studio in Toronto. My current private lesson fee is $60.00 per hour. I can also travel to do coachings and voice workshops, for a price. These things are always more effective in person. I teach Sunday through Thursday.
As an active and touring professional performer, I negotiate fees on an individual basis, by the work required and by the context of the work.

Founding member of The Waverlies, and The Nathaniel Dett Chorale
Operatic, Musical Theatre and straight Theatre roles

hi, ali. sis and i are just 2 gals trying to stop our severe musical self-censorship. we thought we might have enough time to wait for perfection. we've since changed our minds. ;) sis and i would sing Silent Night when we did the dinner dishes as kids. i'd pick a note, marty'd pick one, too - and we'd do our best to stay on our own paths, no matter HOW much the resultant dissonance tempted us. i can't imagine life without harmony or my sister. i take the high road, and marty takes the low one. traveling these roads together in song keeps us off the streets! hey nah nah nah, anne
