i did indeed. and 'twas, "learnt is not a word." but seriously. yeah i did man up. it may be on page to but i gave up and quit caring and i'm just going to let vicky have her super giant lead. caue she's not doing all this to say "hahaha i win" and al that. she just doesnt want to get bumped down and ge lost in all the submissions. I don't blame her but you start off with a lead that giant it forces everyone to do the same. this MC remix is going to be beastly...
as am i. but no dude its not like that.... i did that to prove a point. how fair is it that people who work really hard dont show in the leader boards meanwhile if you leave enough i'll scratch your back you scratch mines and you do.? Yesterday i was in first and i didnt leave one single "vote for me." I wake up the next day and i'm behind by 30 votes. If i did nothing it would have been game over. when i said kids are playing dirty i was being sarcastic but it's nearly impossible to show any emotion in typing. besides, i liked your mix and did vote for you. I'm just saying that those who might not have the time to sit in front of there computer all year long and promote will really get screwed. as far as winning is concerned i dont even care. it's the principle. Take you for example. You worked hard right? Say you don't have all the tie in the world to promote your song hear and you don't end up placing. Wouldnt you be kinda pissed???? Oh yah, I did try to fix the song but iI ran out of time. I did find the right chord progression to fix it but then my mind started wandering and I was damn near about to change the entire song.

thanks a lot man you too. yeah dude i knoww!!! i knew that while i was making it but I couldn't figure out for the life of me what chord to use. Like usually while your making a song it's so repetitive in your head that if make a song sound bad it sounds "alright" to you cause your the one who made it and your completely oblivious and i think thats what happened to me. Hoever I listen to the mix everyday and although theres always something a bit "off" sounding to me I cant seem pinpoint where it is.

cool man, yeah there's a turntablism-emulation plugin in FL now that's called wave traveller, I used it at the end of "Swag Like Mine". sounds brilliant. In theory it's not too difficult of an environment to recreate but ImageLine does it well. anyway that "old n gritty" sound is something I've been curious about for awhile but I haven't gone at it yet. just a matter of time i guess, fancy eq, VintageWarmer, and... have you heard Izotope's free plugin called Vinyl? it's really sweet and has a ton of features.

yeah I've been working on a few but I cant record until I get my computer fixed... I'm not very confident in my songwriting ability, I'd rather just work with other musicians on their stuff... but I have a lot of support from musicians here so I'm going to give the songwriting a shot. :-)
oh well thanks... buttttt Regina Spektor actually wrote Hotel Song. I just made an acoustic version of it. you should check her out she's pretty amazing... she does a genre of music called "antifolk" which isnt really anti-folk at all, but very interesting.
