Andrea Marongiu

Hello there,
my name is Andrea Marongiu, I'm a 26 italian session drummer.

I just moved from Sardinia (Italy) to London and I am looking for some serious and professional work.

I am very versatile drummer, I can play any kind of music, I'm have a pretty clean sound and a perfect timing. I am very confident with click tracks and very quick in recording sessions, I won't waist any time.
I can give a very high quality level of recording and I also have a good personality so is very easy to get along with me.

I am a self-taught drummer, I have been playing for the last 15 years.
I've studied at the CPM (european music institute) in Milan (Italy) and I have also studied at the Jazz university in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy).

You will find some of my recordings on myspace page. There is some Pop, some Rock(live), some Latin(live) with drum solo and also a Jazz track. All the recording are 3 or 4 years old because in the past 3 years I have been playing on cruise ships to "travel the world for free" :) , so I didn't have much chance to record.

I can stay all day writing about me and my playing in this email, but the best way to check if I am good enough for you is to see me playing.
