My mental is an instrumental masterpiece set only for greatness and true intelligence. My thoughts are radical, controversial, and genius. I have transcended human. I am...ME. What am I? Philosophy doesn't begin to describe my insanity. What more can I be but an intelligent insomniac seeking refuge and purpose? What am I? I don't know. I'll tell you when they figure out what's wrong with me.

Band or Group:
Clockwork Logic
Favorite Lyric:

I am the stone that the builder refused, I am the visual, the inspiration, that made ladies sing the blues, I'm the spark that makes your eyes turn bright, the same spark that lights the dark so that you can know your left from your right. I am the ballot in the box, the bullet in the gun, the inner glow that lets you know to call your brother "son". The story that just begun, The promise of what's to come, and I will remain a soldier 'til the war is won.
-Asheru

Day Job:
Philosopher..but there ain't no money in that.

Working With Others

How I Work:

When I'm in the zone I rhyme til' there's blood on the Mic. I'm a fast learner and easy to work with. It's all about lyrics for me, so don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. Hit Me Up.

Experience:

My aunt put me on to a local hip-hop radio station. I was really impressed with the way people expressed themselves through rap. I started buying albums. First KanYe, Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z, and then even mentally deeper stuff like Blackalicious and MF DOOM, and even new guys like The Cool Kids. Aside from hip-hop, I'm into any music that makes me think. That's why I'm into this instrumental expression. But as far as modern artists, I'm into Talib Kweli, Mos Def, OutKast, The-Dream, Hezekiah, Grand Puba, The Roots, MF Grimm, Drake, Black Spade, & k-os. I'm more into 90s rap though like 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas on Illmatic, Jay-Z on Reasonable Doubt, Common, & GZA The Genius. It's all good as long as your lyrics mean something. Mental Stimulation is good music. I been writing music since I was eight years old. It was disgusting at first, but over the years I've transformed myself into an above average lyricist (in my opinion).
