Working With Others

How I Work:

Work with whatever I have around me and try to be resourceful with what tools I have access to. I like situating the rythms first generally, then I try to establish a musical backdrop, the complexity of which depends on how deep the groove is. I then write the melody and lyrics as I record them, trying a number of different ideas and seeing what works. Everything after that should be added to support the melody and flatter the lead instruments. B sections and more chord progressions seem to find there way in after a verse and chorus gets tired.

Experience:

Nearly 10 yrs in recording studio as an engineer and producer. Toured internationally with a rock band V.A.S.T in 2009 running synth and sequencer, plus a little sax.

Equipment:

Bundy Tenor Sax, Fantom X-a, Logic Audio
