Hey Flamefly, listening now. different intro. i have to get used to this beat =) you have a lot of elements going on. The beat is there, but it's not hard enough. I think some decisions level wise in your mix could have been different. there's the stabbing synth thats way too loud. Some sounds in the mix make the whole feel too messy. the break around 3 mins is not bad. There you have less sounds so the whole thing breaths better. So here's my advise: The arrangement is certainly there, just make new some decisions in the mix and mute some stuff.

That Mariah remix is good. Needs a good tribal house mix. Very Good idea. But there is unfortunately a lot of tonality challenges :-)
