I'm an ideas person who can programme & produce. I use a pretty powerful mac with logic, ableton, access virus, Korg m3 melodyne and lots of nice soft synths. I also play a bit of bass.
Really getting into the idea of creating some
electro pop tracks using exotic scales, including say Indian, Arabian, Japanese etc. The fact that technology now means you can look up traditional minor/major chords on your iphone - surely the time is now for pop music to "up its game" and venture out of the traditional major-minor territory.- imagine Depeche Mode if they wrote a few of their darker songs using arabian or asian scales. Not necessarily different sounds - just different scales & vibes!

I haven't created anything like that YET, but def. interested in collaborating with people into the idea of creating accessible but at the same time boundary pushing POP music. Whether thats simple western or exotic - we need a genuinely NEW wave of popular electronic music. Not necessarily far out, but surely the time has come to create the equivalent wave of innovation that bands like Cabaret Voltaire were back doing in 1978. 1978!! If Melodyne DNA lives up to the promise, things could get very interesting.....
