Working With Others

How I Work:

I'd like to meet collaborators for electronic music. I usually just start playing with my gear programming synth patches and beats or experimenting with new production and signal processing techniques. I aspire to make something original rather than starting with very specific musical direction. My music tends to be production oriented with 'studio as the instrument' type over-engineering. I produce a lot of demos and grooves for fun. If I'm feeling especially inspired or diligent I develop them further as songs.

Experience:

I've been experimenting with production in spare time for the past three years now, and programming synths for four. I'm entirely self taught so my composition and arranging tends to be abstract.

Equipment:

Hardware; Novation X-Station 25, M-Audio Axiom 49, custom pc and laptop. Human body.

Software; Cubase SX3, Reason 4, Native Instruments Komplete 4, Waves Diamond Bundle, Korg Legacy Collection, countless other synths and processors.

It is not easy to find polyvoks in Russia in good condition, but it is still real. One of my polyvoks was stolen, but i managed to find modified polyvoks — it has cv/gate control and no keyboard — looks very good and much more lightweight :)
