About Me

Craft:
producer, composer, musician

I began writing and performing music in art school while dabbling in film, installation and performance art. Early projects include:

* Sounds on Wednesdays: a free improvised sound series hosted by the National Gallery of Canada
* The Post Barbie Band: a cocktail of musicians, artists and programmers performing in clubs, art galleries and street corners
* People in the Speakers: a karaoke/movement ensemble championed by Gay Delorme (Frank Zappa, k.d. laing) as “seriously bent; way hip”.

Constructing Nature and The Edge of the World - musical performances playing off Broadway, roots, jazz and minimalist genres - were presented at The Western Front (Vancouver), Globe Theatre (Regina), A Space (Toronto) and The Slade (London, England). A virtual reality soundscape, About Three Idylls (The Narcissist), was produced by the Banff Centre for the Arts and recognized at Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria).

I was absorbed into the jazzsphere in about four years ago, when a two-week jaunt into jazz improvisation exploded into a four year full-time process of listening, studying, jamming, composing and recording. My recently released CD, Travelling in Curves documents recent developments in this exploration.

Thanks 4 stoping by, comment woulda been nice, however I enjoyed ur track because Jazz is my gateway to solitude.. I wish I had my old stuff thats been lost so people could hear my real talent. my tracks are from my sons prospective, but its nice to be diverse in all music so the flex is not boring.......
