About Me

Skill Level:
Amateur
Craft:
recording engineer, studio operator, musician
Influences:
Max Roach, Elvin Jones, Bill Bruford, John Blackwell Jr., Tim Alexander

I am a drummer/engineer living in Southern New Jersey working for my band, Sure Juror. I generally have a funky style to my playing, but I am able to reign in and play just about any style. I wouldn't call myself an amazing player, but I stay on time, and I pride myself on simplicity, and playing only what the song needs, nothing more. I don't play prog or metal. I feel the same way about recording. I prefer to keep the process simple and effective. I want the finished product to be sonically clear, pleasing to the ear and an exact duplication of what the songwriter was thinking when the song was concieved. I prefer not to add frills and smoke and mirrors when they are not necessary.
